Class Information
What to Prepare: Students should come prepared to sing a 2-3 minute song from a musical. Please bring a cd or tape of music for accompaniment.
What to expect: BBYT conducts "closed" auditions. This means that each child will be asked to perform his/her audition song in the studio with only the Director, Assistant Director, Choreographer, and Scene Assistant present. Auditions generally take no longer than 5 minutes.
Then What? Every student gets a part! Students who are being considered for specific larger roles will be given Call Back notices immediately if applicable. Everyone will receive a detailed rehearsal schedule at the time of the audition.
Registration: Each student must turn in a registration form and payment at the time of the audition. You may print the registration form off of this site or come a bit early and fill one out on the day of the audition. Registration fees are non-refundable.
